Stray Kids Record Seventh Billboard No. 1

Date:

Stray Kids record another massive achievement with their latest album “Karma,” continuing their dominance of the Billboard 200. On Sunday, a chart preview confirmed that the group secured their seventh No. 1 entry on the prestigious chart. Their fourth full-length studio album, “Karma,” debuted at the top spot immediately upon release. This marks the seventh consecutive time the group has entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1. Stray Kids are now the only act in Billboard history to debut their first seven albums at the top of the chart.

Last year, the group became the first to achieve six straight No. 1 debuts with their initial entries. Now, Stray Kids record an even more groundbreaking milestone with their seventh chart-topping debut. This extends a unique record and sets a new bar in the K-pop industry. Moreover, this win places Stray Kids ahead of BTS in one particular category. With “Karma,” they now have the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 among K-pop groups. BTS previously held the record with six albums at the top.

Beyond chart performance, the album’s sales numbers have also stunned the industry. “Karma” sold over 2 million physical copies on its release day alone. By the end of the first week, it had crossed 3 million in total sales. No other K-pop artist has reached that mark in 2025 so far. In addition to its US success, the album made waves in the UK as well. “Karma” entered the Official Albums Chart Top 100 at No. 22. This is the highest position Stray Kids have achieved on the UK chart to date.

The 11-track album showcases a bold and experimental sound. Fans praised its strong production, energetic performances, and lyrical depth. Each track contributes to a dynamic listening experience that reinforces the group’s identity. In conclusion, Stray Kids record not only numbers, but also history. With “Karma,” they prove their global impact and continued rise as K-pop leaders. Their momentum shows no signs of slowing anytime soon.
