Million-Selling Milestone for TWS With Fifth EP No Tragedy

Date:

TWS has achieved a million-selling milestone with its fifth EP No Tragedy. Pledis Entertainment announced the sales figures on Monday. The group sold more than 1.11 million copies in just one week. This result marks a career high for the two-year-old boy band. Consequently, this million-selling milestone represents the group’s first album to reach seven figures.

The EP No Tragedy first released on April 27. It sold over 830,000 units on its release day alone. That figure already surpassed TWS’s previous sales records. Moreover, the mini album reached the 1 million threshold in just four days. Therefore, this million-selling milestone came faster than many industry observers predicted. The main track titled You, You entered all major domestic music charts. The supporting music video also performed exceptionally well online. It generated 20 million plays on YouTube within six days.

Pledis Entertainment has seen steady growth for TWS since their debut. The group previously released four EPs with modest but increasing sales. Each comeback brought more fans and higher first-week numbers. Nevertheless, this million-selling milestone catapults TWS into a higher sales tier. Only a handful of K-pop groups achieve such figures within two years. Industry analysts attribute the success to strong fan engagement. TWS has built a loyal domestic and international fanbase. Their music style appeals to younger demographics effectively.

The timing of this million-selling milestone aligns with major promotional activities. TWS will perform at KCON Japan 2026 later this week. The three-day event takes place in Chiba, Japan starting Saturday. TWS joins a prestigious lineup of top K-pop acts. The group will likely perform You, You and other No Tragedy tracks. Consequently, the million-selling milestone will boost their visibility at the festival. International media coverage of KCON will introduce TWS to new audiences. This exposure may drive even more album sales in the coming weeks.

Looking ahead, TWS plans to continue promoting No Tragedy actively. They will appear on music shows and variety programs in May. The group may also announce an Asia tour later this year. Pledis Entertainment has not yet disclosed further details. However, this million-selling milestone gives the company confidence to invest more. The K-pop industry has seen a slowdown in physical album growth recently. Nonetheless, TWS managed to buck that trend with strong sales. Their achievement proves that new groups can still break through. Fans celebrated the news on social media with hashtags and fan art. The group thanked supporters through a heartfelt online post. This million-selling milestone will likely remain a career-defining moment for TWS.
