World of Street Woman Fighter Goes Global

Date:

World of Street Woman Fighter goes global with the launch of its third season, now rebranded as World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF). Mnet’s hit survival reality show has widened its scope, transforming into an international competition featuring elite crews from five countries. Six teams from South Korea, the United States, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand will face off as national representatives. Producers say dancers will transcend language barriers, using movement to connect, battle, and inspire. World of Street Woman Fighter goes global in a bold move that elevates K-dance onto the world stage.

At a press conference held Tuesday in Gangnam, Seoul, chief producer Choi Jeong-nam explained the decision to expand the format internationally. Choi noted that overseas participation in Season 2 revealed a hunger for global representation. “We realized how much more we could show fans by inviting international crews,” she said. Choi admitted that working across languages and cultures introduced logistical challenges and increased the need for translators. Nevertheless, World of Street Woman Fighter goes global with a renewed focus on communication through dance.

New host Sung Han-bin of ZEROBASEONE shared his excitement about joining the program as its emcee. “It’s an honor to host a show I’ve always loved,” he said, noting the opportunity to grow alongside world-class talent. Judges Park Jin-young of JYP Entertainment and Mike Song of The Kinjaz also joined the panel this season. Park expressed his joy at returning to his roots in dance without the usual industry politics. Song described the show as “legendary,” calling it a rare celebration of professional dance culture.

Crew BUMSUP will represent Korea, featuring nine standout leaders from Season 1, including Honey J, Monika, and LIP J. Honey J admitted feeling intense pressure but promised the team would rise to the occasion. “It’s two or three times more intense than before,” she said, adding that the team’s chemistry is perfect. Gabee highlighted the emotional stakes, saying the dancers perform with national pride on the line. LIP J noted that the show also reveals personal stories behind the movement.

World of Street Woman Fighter premieres Tuesday at 10 p.m. on Mnet, promising fierce battles, raw emotions, and cultural connection. Producers hope viewers will appreciate dance as a universal language that bridges global boundaries. Despite differences in background and style, the crews aim to grow the international fan base for street dance. Choi encouraged audiences to focus on movement rather than nationality or language. Ultimately, World of Street Woman Fighter goes global with a mission to spotlight talent and unity through rhythm.
