Kard Expands Japan Tour with Tokyo Concert on July 4

Date:

Co-ed group Kard will bring its Japan Tour to Tokyo on July 4, marking the latest stop of its “Drift” tour. DSP Media confirmed the expansion on Thursday. The Tokyo concert adds a key Asian market to the group’s international itinerary. Moreover, the Japan Tour concert will allow the four members to connect with their Japanese fanbase directly.

Before heading to Tokyo, Kard will perform in Jakarta on June 27. That show marks the group’s first live performance in Indonesia in roughly eight years. Consequently, the Jakarta and Tokyo dates together extend the tour’s reach deeper into Asia. The quartet originally launched the “Drift” tour in Seoul last year. From there, they traveled to Bangkok and Taipei. They also visited six cities across the United States. As a result, the Japan Tour now builds on a string of successful overseas performances.

The members have pursued solo careers alongside the group’s activities. J.seph released his first solo EP “Spin-off” last month. Jeon So-min debuted her solo effort “Unveil” in April. BM held his first solo concert in Taipei in April as well. Furthermore, BM branched into acting with a role in the second season of Netflix series “Beef.” These individual endeavors have strengthened the group’s overall profile. Therefore, the Japan Tour arrives at a moment of heightened visibility for Kard.

The agency did not disclose further details about the Tokyo concert venue or ticket sales. However, the announcement signals the group’s continued momentum in the global music scene. Fans can expect a setlist that blends the group’s hits with the members’ solo work. The Japan Tour serves as both a reunion for the quartet and a showcase of their individual growth. Looking ahead, DSP Media hinted at additional tour dates in other regions. For now, the Tokyo concert stands as a major milestone for Kard’s touring history.
