Babymonster kicked off its second world tour, Choom, with three powerful shows at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. The concerts ran from June 26 to 28, marking the group’s first world tour in roughly 17 months. Furthermore, the tour spans 18 cities and 29 shows across five continents, including debut stops in Oceania, Europe, and South America. Consequently, this expanded run significantly surpasses the scale of the group’s first world tour, Hello Monsters.
With member Rami on hiatus due to health concerns, the remaining six members delivered a high-intensity performance throughout. The show opened with We Go Up before transitioning into newer tracks including Choom, Batter Up, and Drip. Additionally, a live band featuring electric guitar, drums, and heavy bass gave the performance rock-festival-level energy throughout. Member Ahyeon drew particularly loud crowd reactions during her signature climactic vocal moment in Drip.
The concert later shifted into individually choreographed solo segments showcasing each member’s distinct artistic style. Rora performed a swing-jazz reinterpretation of Havana, while Asa delivered sharp rap skills during her segment. Meanwhile, Pharita and Chiquita brought contrasting bright and mature energy through their respective solo performances. Ruka then added hip-hop edge before Ahyeon closed the solo segment with an Ariana Grande cover.
A softer ballad section followed, allowing individual vocal tones to emerge without choreography distractions. Songs included Stuck in the Middle, Love Maybe, and Dream, shifting the arena into a more sentimental atmosphere. The concert then returned to high energy with crowd favorites including Really Like You and the group’s newest single Sugar Honey Ice Tea. Throughout closing remarks, members expressed deep gratitude toward fans for supporting their rapid return to touring.
Following the Seoul concerts, Babymonster will bring the Choom world tour to Japan beginning in July. Japanese stops include Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka through September. Going forward, additional international tour dates are expected to be announced as the group continues expanding its global touring footprint significantly.
