One of the key attractions at the China Pavilion is the Walker C humanoid robot, developed by UBTech Robotics. This advanced robot will offer intelligent tour guide services at the south plaza. It will also engage in human-robot interaction experiences, adding a high-tech element to the exhibition. Additionally, the pavilion will feature a next-generation version of the mythological figure Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. Powered by cutting-edge cognitive intelligence from iFlytek, this version of Sun Wukong will use advanced technologies like speech recognition and multimodal interaction. The pavilion will also present a vision for the future of urban development. The Future Smart City exhibition, organized by China Energy Engineering Group, will feature eight types of urban networks. These include energy, transportation, digital, and industrial networks. The exhibition will demonstrate China’s advancements in clean energy, artificial intelligence, and sustainable urban growth.
During Expo 2025, the China Pavilion will host a variety of events. Liu mentioned that thirty Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and Shenzhen will hold themed events at the pavilion. In addition, various government agencies and businesses will organize activities focused on cultural, technological, and economic exchange. The pavilion’s official opening is scheduled for Sunday, and its National Pavilion Day will take place on July 11.
