Ryoko Hirosue Hospital Incident Under Review

Date:

Japanese actress Ryoko Hirosue has been released from custody following her recent arrest. The Ryoko Hirosue hospital incident occurred after she reportedly attacked a nurse. Her management shared the update through her official website on Wednesday.

Prosecutors decided not to indict the 44-year-old actress at this time. However, they confirmed the investigation will continue. Hirosue has agreed to cooperate with authorities voluntarily.

According to an investigative source, Hirosue reached a settlement with the nurse involved in the Ryoko Hirosue hospital incident. Police conducted drug and alcohol tests following the case and found no illegal substances in her system.

Her agency added that Hirosue showed emotional instability after the crash. She will now undergo medical treatment to address her mental health. The agency also issued an apology to the nurse and others impacted by the event. They promised Hirosue would take full responsibility moving forward.

The Ryoko Hirosue hospital incident followed a car accident on April 7. Hirosue suffered minor injuries after rear-ending a truck on the Shin-Tomei Expressway. A male passenger in her car sustained a fracture, while the truck driver escaped harm.

After the crash, hospital staff tried to keep Hirosue from roaming the facility. Reports say she reacted violently by kicking a nurse and scratching her arm. This behavior reportedly came from a state of panic, according to her earlier online statement.

Last Thursday, police searched Hirosue’s home in Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward. They aimed to collect information related to possible charges of dangerous driving causing injury.

Hirosue gained fame in the 1990s with hits like “Beach Boys.” She also starred in the Academy Award-winning film “Departures.” Despite the current controversy, fans continue to follow her closely.

The Ryoko Hirosue hospital incident has sparked national attention. Many await the final outcome of the investigation.
