Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2025 unites runners from all walks of life in a major city-wide athletic celebration. Scheduled for May 24, the international event has already attracted over 5,000 participants from Mongolia and beyond.

The shortest race category is a 1.5 km fun run. This segment allows families, wheelchair users, and visually impaired runners to join together. So far, 954 runners have signed up for this inclusive race. The organizers aim to make this marathon accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

In addition, 2,451 runners have registered for the 5 km event. This distance continues to be one of the most popular categories in the marathon. The 10 km race follows closely with 794 confirmed participants ready to challenge themselves on race day.

Over 700 people have also registered for the half marathon, which stretches across 21 km. Organizers have divided this category into age brackets: 18–34, 35–54, and 55 and older. A separate group is available for runners with physical disabilities, making the competition even more inclusive.

The full marathon spans 42 km and draws experienced runners and determined athletes. There are two subgroups in this category—one for those aged 18 and above and one for participants with developmental challenges. So far, 135 runners have registered for the full marathon.

Race registration fees range from MNT 5,000 to MNT 9,000, depending on the chosen distance. However, runners in the 500-meter and 800-meter special categories can participate for free.

Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2025 unites runners through sport, determination, and inclusivity. The city expects a large turnout and high energy levels throughout the event.

With thousands preparing for the race, Ulaanbaatar Marathon 2025 unites runners in a shared goal of fitness and community.
